The 2016 edition of the Atmosphere Mind Over Mountain Adventure Race is now officially sold out. Over 600 adventure athletes from across Canada and the USA have signed up to take on the challenges of the MOMAR in the historic village of Cumberland.
This year’s MOMAR will be the 37th race in its 17 year history and 16th in the Comox Valley. Other past venues included Duncan, Squamish, Ladysmith, Cowichan Lake, Sechelt, Burnaby, Shawinigan Lake, and Ucluelet. The Cumberland race has always been the most popular venue and this year’s sellout only took 46 days.

Another year has come and gone and we hope that your 2014 was filled with many tales of adventure. For those of you that took on last year’s Atmosphere Mind Over Mountain Adventure Race in Cumberland, we hope that your experience was a truly memorable one and that you have plans to come back again this year.
The 2015 date is set and the 16th annual, 38th edition, of the MOMAR will return to the Village of Cumberland on September 26th. Registration is now open with early bird rates in effect until the end of February. Call up your buddies, get your team together, and make the commitment to take on the challenge today. Please note that this race sells out quickly every year.
We are already in the process of designing this year’s course and with such an expansive Cumberland trail network to work with, you can expect another challenging and adventure filled experience.
